Turtles' World Stories

Chapter One: Welcome to Turtles' World

Author's Note: Please note that the book is different from the show! Thank you! - Rabbitmagic

Sistie's POV:
I was getting ready to pack my bags. It was finally summer. All those times facing Ms. Millis. It was finally over. At least, for three months. My name was Sistie. I lived in Smart Planet, where all the wise, powerful turtles were from. It was somewhere in space, in another dimension, different from where you lived. We were guided and ruled by our fair, powerful turtess, Fidem, which was Latin for "faith." Her parents named her that because they believed she had faith for all her turtles. I'm getting off track pretty quickly.
Anyway, I went to my drawer and got out my favorite book. It was called "Sleepless". My best friend Rosie gave it to me. She was a monkey, which was strange. I slammed my suitcase closed, complaining at how heavy it was. "Mom!" I shouted. "I'm ready!"
My mom was one of those moms who worried too much. That's sorta why I only have one friend, which was Rosie. Rosie's mom and my mom worked at the same company. They became close friends. I sometimes wonder how my mom became friends with her. I mean, they were literally the opposite of each other!
My mom likes red, and Rosie's mom, Petunia, likes blue. My mom likes TV, Petunia likes books. Strange.
My mom came into my room. "Be safe! And don't forget to write to me every week!" she said.
I nodded my head, signaling her I'd heard her. "Bye!" I said, wanting to get out of there in case my mom changes her mind about letting me go.
"Bye, honey!" she replied, hugging me in her arms. I breathed in the sweet smell of her perfume, which I wouldn't be smelling for a while. She finally loosened her grip.
"I'll miss you," I said with a small smile.
My mom smiled and waved goodbye. "Be safe!"
Without wasting any time, I used my teleportation spell. "Lanuae Magicae!" Strange name for a spell. [A/N: For some of you who don't know, Lanuae Magicae means "Teleport Magic" in Latin. I don't know why I like to use Latin for spells/names x3]
I arrived in Turtles' World under a minute. New record, I thought to myself.
I studied my surroundings. The grass was greener than green. There were trees that looked healthy like a horse. The sky was blue, with no trace of clouds. There were little turtees chasing each other around. [Turtee is a made-up word I made myself x3. It basically refers to young/child turtles.] I breathed in the oxygen, wondering if it was fresh. Sure enough, it was. This place was perfect for a summer vacation.
I smiled at the turtees running around joyfully. It was then that I realized. I had no idea what to do next. I'd arrived at Turtles' World. Now what? Where was I supposed to stay? I reached for my iTurtle [A/N: iPhone] and dialed Rosie, who lived here. She moved here 10 weeks ago. I missed being in school with her. Tyter Turtle Academy wasn't the same without her.
      "Hello?" a soft voice answered.
"Hey, Rosie! It's me, Sistie!" I said cheerfully.
I heard her pause for a sec. "Sistie! Is it really you? I thought Smart Planet phones can't call anywhere else but Smart Planet!"
I shrugged, though I was pretty sure she couldn't see me through the phone. "My mom bought me a new phone just for Turtles' World," I answered. "Anyway, I'm here! Somewhere..."
I could practically imagine Rosie biting her lip. It was sorta a habit. "Where?" she asked.
I studied the signs. "Between Turtle Park and Michigane. In some turtee park."
"Okay, I'm gonna be there within 10 minutes. Stay put!" With that, she hung up.
I used my magic and hid my phone somewhere in the magic world, so that way, I couldn't lose it.
With that, I searched for a bench in the park, waiting for Rosie to come.

Rosie's POV:
I was sorta surprised that Sistie had called me. It was summer already in Smart Planet? I guess I wasn't really tracking the date and time there, like I promised I'd do. I took my keys and ran out the door. Wouldn't want to keep Sistie waiting. I bet some of you are asking: Why can't I just use magic?
Well, you see...turtles in Turtles' World don't really have magic, unlike turtles in Smart Planet. I know that because, instead of using magic, they use weird transportation, [bus, car, etc.] and they don't really use magic to levitate anything. It's really hard to keep magic a secret. Even the tiniest of magic can attract turtles' attentions. Like, seriously! How sensitive are their instincts? I took a turn to the right, where my favorite beverage restaurant was. Mmmm...I crave for a banana milkshake now.
I crossed the street, looking both ways. Of course, you have to look both ways before you cross. Only idiots are stupid enough to not know that. I saw the signs that Sistie had mentioned earlier. Entering the park, I looked around for Sistie, only to find her alone, reading a book on a bench. I ran up to her, excitement churning in my belly. It's been 10 weeks since I'd seen her. "Sistie!" I shouted.
She looked up and waved at me. "Rosie!" she said in glee.
I stopped in front of her and we did our little secret highfive. Sistie used her disappearance magic to make the book disappear. I sat next to her, telling her to scoot over. Sistie obeyed silently. "How are things at Smart Planet?" I asked, hoping to stir a conversation.
Sistie shrugged. "It's fine. Ms. Millis is barking orders as always. Cia and Peg are still the same mean girls. And Snips and Bones are the same troublemakers. Basically nothing has changed. Oh, wait! We have this new girl called Ruybee. She's nice."
I took a moment to process what Sistie had said. There was a new girl? "Ruby? Like R-U-B-Y?" I knew it was a dumb question to ask. I was always good at spelling. But, hey! You will never know!
To my surprise, Sistie answered with a "no". "Actually," she said, "it's spelled R-U-B-Y-E-E."
    I laughed. "That's a weird name."
    "Yeah."
I settled my gaze on two boys who were playing basketball. One had glasses, and a light green shell. Another one had a top hat that was green with a blue shell. Sistie seemed to see what I was looking at and found a perfect moment to tease me.
"You liiikeee one of themmmm!" she teased.
"WHAT? NO!" I blushed furiously, mostly 'cause of embarrassment. "Besides, I'm a monkey!"
Sistie shrugged. She looked like she was going to say something, but stopped. She was looking at a particular turtle sitting on the bench.

Sistie's POV:
I saw a turtle with a blue top-hat and a green shell. He looked like my brother from Dumb Planet, Brothie. Brothie was always a stupid guy who liked video games and ate too much pizza. I caught Rosie looking at me. "Hey, what's wrong? Do you like him or something?" she asked, hoping to get me back at that remark I said to her earlier.
"No," I answered coolly."He just reminds me of someone I know."
Rosie looked doubtful. "Sure..." she snickered.
I rolled my eyes. Sometimes, Rosie could be so weird.
I continued gazing at the turtle. Suddenly, he looked at me. I spotted a hint of recognition in his eyes. He gave a thumbs-up to his friends and came towards me.
Sure enough, it was the same, squeaky voice. "HEY, SISTIE!" he said, with a wide, toothy grin.
I scratched the back of my head. "Hi, Brothie..." I said more cautiously. He was the one who spilled his lemonade on all of the manga he "borrowed" from me. I never forgave him for that. It was downright gross!
His friends might have decided to see who Brothie was talking to. They walked up to us.
"Um, Sistie?" Rosie's voice broke my thoughts. "Who is this turtle?" She frowned.
I'd almost forgotten. Rosie was a shy monkey. "Oh, this is my brother, Brothie. He moved to Dumb Planet because of his personality," I said, like it didn't really matter.
Brothie slapped me on the back and said, "Hey, you want to join us for a game of basketball?"
I muttered a curse word. Same old Brothie. I looked at him chug down a bottle of water.
The turtle with the glasses was the first to move. "Hey, Brothie?"
Brothie looked at him. "Yeah, bruh?" he answered, pausing his drinking, only to continue.
"I was wondering. Is this the Sistie you were talking so much about?" He scratched the back of his head.
Brothie placed the cap back on his water. "Yup," he answered. I wrinkled my nose in disgust. He was smellier than before.
"Go take a shower!" I blurted out. Rosie looked at me like I was crazy. Brothie's friends gaped at me. I was confused. Why was everyone so shocked? It was only Brothie! I shrugged. "What?"
The turtle with the green top-hat whispered, "Brothie hates showers."
I shrugged. "I was able to make him shower once," I said.
Again, everyone was shocked. "You're saying it like it's no big deal!" the glasses turtle said.
I looked at him like he was crazy. "It is no big deal!" Wanting to close the conversation, I changed the subject. "About that basketball game... Sure! I would love to join!" I looked at Rosie.
She nodded shyly as always. "She has selective mutism or some sort of mental disease," I said.
Brothie tilted his head. "Sure, I guess..." By the looks of it, he didn't know what that was.
I didn't bother explaining to him, so I grabbed his basketball and twirled it around my finger. "I made the girls' basketball team in Turtee School," I said, smirking.
Brothie sent a glare. "We'll see about that."

Author's Note: FINALLY FINISHED! I had writer's block for the past few days. Well, stay tuned for the next chapter! I'll find a way to update as soon as I can!

~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O

A/N: HEY GUYS! I finally had time to post a new chapter! I'm having writer's block...

Chapter 3: The Basketball Game

Brothie's POV:
Who does Sistie think she is? Thinking she could beat me in a basketball game. HA! We'll see about that. I bet she lied that she made it into the girls' basketball team. She couldn't beat me even if she was daydreaming! I was the captain of the Dumb Planet High School basketball team, The Cougars.
We got into our formation. Freddy in my right and William on my left. I was in the center, for offense. Sistie insisted to play alone while Rosie was the coach. She still didn't want to blow the damn whistle because she was scared she would scare "harmless" animals. [A/N: There won't be cussing here. Only minor ones such as damn. Turtles' World is a kid-friendly story.]
I hate animals. They are gross. They slobber all over you. I had no idea why Rosie liked those ignorant bugs that flutter all over you. Once, a ladybug landed on my eye! It was creepy as hell. I might have accidentally "destroyed" its wings because it tried to fly, but it couldn't. SERVES IT RIGHT! Never mess with Brothie.
Sistie smirked as Rosie blew the whistle softly. She dribbled the ball, attempting to shoot into our team's hoop. But William was too fast for her. He grabbed the basketball and dribbled all the way to Sistie's hoop. He shot a 3.0. Ha! I thought. Take that, Sistie!
I glanced at Sistie to see her reaction, only to find her smiling her demonic smile. She rushed over to the ball, and caught it before it landed on the floor. She dribbled all the way to our hoop and shot a half-court. We all gaped.
"WHAT?" I heard Freddy say in shock. "How-"
Sistie cut him off. "I told you! I'm not an easy opponent." She sent me an I-told-you-not-to-mess-with-me look.
I returned her stare with a glare.
Freddy jumped and caught the ball. He dribbled all the way to Sistie's side of the court. Sistie was already over there, in defense mode. Boy, that girl can run!
Freddy passed the ball to William who distracted Sistie by pretending to go the other way. He sent me a wink, and I knew exactly what to do. I went to the opposite side of Sistie. Sistie noticed what was going on but it was too late. William threw the ball to me, which I caught. I shot the ball before Sistie could stop me. Rosie blew the whistle. Again, softly. "The boys win!" her tiny voice said.               "YES!" Freddy shouted in triumph.
Sistie glared. "I was just out-numbered," she said.
I glared back. "You insisted on going solo."
William shrugged. "He's got a point. But you're a good basketball player too! First time I saw a girl make a half-court shot like that."
Sistie smiled her too wide "innocent-smile". "Anyway, congrats!" She changed her attitude quickly.
I smiled to myself. "ANYONE UP FOR A MILKSHAKE?" I shouted.
    "YEAH!" they all replied cheerfully.

Nobody's POV:
And so, they all walked to Rosie's place for a banana shake, while the sun settled down the mountain.

A/N: THAT WAS FUN TO WRITE! SORRY FOR NOT POSTING MUCH! I DON'T HAVE AN EXCUSE FOR THAT! LOVE U ALL! <33333 SORRY IF IT WAS KINDA SHORT. I UPDATED SOME MINOR MISTAKES FOR THE OTHER CHAPTERS. PLEASE COMMENT! <33

Chapter 4: Meeting Fluffy

Hey, guys! Today is Let's-Be-Friends' birthday! Happy Birthday! Let's get on with this chapter now...

Rosie's POV:
I had no idea what was in store for me today. Turns out that what was about to happen was very strange...
I was in my room. It was a normal day today in Turtles' World. I was finishing the latest chapter of my favorite series, "Banana Mysteries", when all of a sudden, a huge crash interrupted my reading. I creased the corner of my page and closed my book. I looked out the window to find an alien spaceship in my backyard. What is that? I knew UFOs weren't real or anything, but this was right in front of me!
Brothie reads alien comic books all the time, and I think it is a whole bunch of baloney. This was different though. It was a real live spaceship!
"SISTIE!" I yelled, not believing what was in front of me. Sistie heard my scream and ran upstairs to see what the commotion was. Freddy, William, and Brothie heard it too.
 Brothie's POV:
What was this all about? I ran upstairs where the scream was, and saw Rosie pointing at the window. She looked like she'd just seen a ghost or something. I shook my head. Rosie was always scared of random things. Even her own shadow.
Freddy looked to where she was pointing and was dumbfounded. I shrugged and walked to the window. My eyes widened. "WHAT IS THAT?" I asked the know-it-all Sistie.
She shrugged. "Looks like an alien spaceship to me."
I was so happy. This was the best day of my life. All those times of convincing Sistie that aliens really existed, she hadn't believed me. Now, I'd proved her wrong. "HA!" I said. "I KNEW ALIENS EXISTED!" I did a victory dance. Turns out I was right!

Sistie's POV:
     Stupid Brothie.
"I'm sure there is a reason for this," I said, trying not to show my rage. I was supposed to be the one with all the answers. Not BROTHIE. He was supposed to be the dumb turtle who didn't know how to spell "cat".
He just smirked. "You're just jealous I proved you wrong!" I wanted to wipe that smug look off his face.
"Whatever," I answered. "Let's go check it out."
Freddy was the first one to run out the door. He was always into supernatural things. William was second, Brothie was third, and of course, Rosie was last.

A/N: Thanks for reading my story! I'm gonna post more on Thanksgiving Break. Until next time! Bai! <3
